Find Your Voice.
Find Your Freedom.
A 7-Week Gateless Writing Journey
There are things you've carried for far too long because you didn't know where else to put them.
Put them on the page.
The rage. The heartbreak. The things you still can't quite make sense of. The memories that won't leave you alone. The desires you've barely let yourself admit you have.
And then let's see what happens.
Because whether you're still deep inside the labyrinth of narcissistic abuse, beginning to find your way out, or standing on the other side thinking, Who the hell am I now?—your voice is one of the most powerful threads you have back to yourself.
And sister, it is still in there.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped trusting what you knew.
That's one of the cruelest things about narcissistic abuse.
It's not only what happens to you.
It's what happens inside you.
You start questioning your memory. Your feelings. Your instincts. Your desires.
You explain.
You accommodate.
You make yourself smaller.
You become so exquisitely attuned to someone else's reality that your own voice becomes harder and harder to hear.
Writing gives us a way back.
On the page, nobody gets to interrupt you.
Nobody gets to tell you you're too sensitive.
Nobody gets to explain what really happened.
Nobody gets to decide what your experience means.
The page is yours.
And there is something wildly liberating about that.
This is not seven weeks of writing about your trauma.
Dear God, no.
You have spent enough time orbiting what happened to you.
We're going to write about you.
The girl you were.
The woman you've become.
The things you've lost.
The things you want back.
Rage and sex and motherhood and beauty and grief and adventure and ridiculousness and the dreams you've been quietly tucking away for "someday."
We'll write into the whole gorgeous mess of being alive.
Because what happened to you is part of your story.
It is not the whole damn story.
And this is where the magic happens.
We're going to write Gateless.
Which means there is no criticism.
No red pen.
No "constructive feedback."
No wondering whether you're a real writer.
Instead, we look for what is working.
The sentence that gives us goosebumps.
The image we can see with our eyes closed.
The line that makes the whole room go silent because we all know she just touched something true.
You write.
You read if you want to.
And we tell you where your words came alive.
Again and again and again.
Until something extraordinary begins to happen:
You start hearing it too.
Your own voice.
Not the voice that learned to keep everyone happy.
Not the voice asking, Am I allowed?
Not the voice wondering what everyone else will think.
Yours.
You don't have to be a writer.
Truly.
You can show up convinced you have absolutely nothing to say.
You can show up terrified to read out loud.
You can show up with a notebook from the grocery store and a pen you found at the bottom of your purse.
Perfect.
Bring that.
Because we're not trying to manufacture beautiful writing.
We're creating the conditions where the truest parts of you finally have enough room to speak.
And truth has a funny way of making beautiful things.
For seven weeks, we're going to follow the thread.
Back to places you've forgotten.
Into the things you've been afraid to say.
Toward desires you haven't given yourself permission to want.
And forward into the fierce, gorgeous life that might be waiting for you on the other side of all this.
You may write something heartbreaking.
You may write something hilarious.
You may write something so beautiful you can't believe it came out of your own hand.
And somewhere along the way, you may read a sentence you just wrote and think:
Oh. There I am.
That moment?
That's what we're after.
Come if you're still inside the labyrinth.
Come if you're halfway out.
Come if you left years ago and are only now discovering all the pieces of yourself you left behind.
Come if you're not even sure what happened yet.
Come because you're furious.
Come because you're heartbroken.
Come because something inside you is waking up and you want to know what she has to say.
You do not need to arrive healed.
You do not need to arrive brave.
You do not need to arrive knowing what you're going to write.
Just arrive.
We'll take it from there.
What we'll do together
For seven weeks, we'll gather to write in a radically affirming space where your words—and your experience—belong entirely to you.
I'll guide you through evocative writing prompts, meditation and embodiment practices designed to get us underneath all the noise and into the place where the good stuff lives.
We'll write.
We'll share.
We'll witness one another.
We'll tell each other exactly where the words shimmered.
And little by little, you'll begin collecting pages filled with evidence of something you may have forgotten:
You are still here.
Your creativity is still here.
Your knowing is still here.
Your wildness is still here.
Your voice is still here.
Your story belongs to you.
This is the part I want you to remember.
Your story does not belong to the person who tried to rewrite it.
It doesn't belong to the version of you who did whatever she needed to do to survive.
And it doesn't have to become a perfectly packaged redemption story where everything terrible suddenly makes sense.
It belongs to you.
You get to decide what it means.
You get to decide what happens next.
You get to turn what was too heavy to hold inside into words on a page.
And maybe, somewhere in those words, into art.
So bring it all, sister.
The heartbreak.
The fury.
The beauty.
The questions.
The stories you haven't told anyone.
The life you're secretly dreaming about.
Bring the whole gorgeous, complicated, unfinished woman.
We'll start there.
Find Your Voice. Find Your Freedom.

Sometimes it begins the moment you hear your own voice again.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
